Executive Director Message Since 1954, Opportunity Village has always set the standard for serving people with intellectual disabilities and their families. Although our mission has remained constant over the years, the services we've provided have evolved as the needs of our families have changed. We've gone from being a school for people who were not allowed in the public school system to being a top employment and training organization. Opportunity Village prides itself on is its ability to adapt, whether that means constantly adding new programs to meet the changing needs of the people we serve or finding new ways to raise needed funds in a struggling economy. Change is good and we are always looking for ways to grow. The launch of Opportunity Village's new website is another change for the better. You will find the new website to be more user-friendly with easier access to important information such as how your loved one can receive services from Opportunity Village, how you can donate and get an in-depth look at the special events that spread awareness about our mission.
