WEST OAKEY EMPLOYMENT TRAINING CENTER
The Opportunity Village West Oakey Campus is a testament to the tenacity and hard work of the Resource Development Office, a Dynamic Board of Directors, the Lied Foundation and many other donors. Oakey is our first real home. It has sheltered and nurtured thousands of people over the past ten years. People have grown and developed new skills that now allow them to lead independent, dignified lives. We have seen many changes to the buildings and landscape; all to improve the programs and services we offer.

WALTERS FAMILY CAMPUS OF OPPORTUNITY VILLAGE

The Walters Family Campus became a reality when Miss Kitty Rodman introduced Bill and Susan Walters to Opportunity Village and their son Scott Walters began volunteering in the Oakey Work Training Center. Kitty's insight, Scott's enthusiasm and Bill and Susan's generosity spurred Opportunity Village into action to meet an ever growing need for program space. This beautiful facility, opened in April 2000, immediately became a source of pride and a place of learning and employment for several hundred people. Thank you to all of the wonderful donors that helped make this dream a reality.

RALPH & BETTY ENGELSTAD CAMPUS OF OPPORTUNITY VILLAGE

To fill a growing need for increased program space and new programs, Opportunity Village’s newest campus is located on Buffalo Road and Patrick Lane. This state-of-the-art campus houses the Kitty Rodman Multi-purpose Center for Arts & Life Skill Enrichment and the Thomas & Mack Employment Training Center.

OPPORTUNITY VILLAGE THRIFT STORE

The Thrift Store offers new and gently used clothing, furniture, appliances, sporting goods and much, much more. The store’s success relies on donations from the community, and Opportunity Village offers free pick up of your donations. Remember, your donation is tax deductible and, more importantly, provides a job and a paycheck to a person with a disability.

MAGICAL FOREST

The Magical Forest is open nightly at 5:30pm from November 20 – January 1, closing Sundays – Thursdays at 9pm and at 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. There are plenty of special events and offers throughout the Forest season.
