There are a wide variety of ways you can get involved with one of the fantastic events held by Opportunity Village. Our events are such a success because the entire Las Vegas community gets involved, whether it’s becoming an event sponsor, providing products or services, donating silent auction items or volunteering their time. Because Opportunity Village is almost 80% self-funded, it’s important that every dollar earned by an event goes directly into the programs and services for the citizens we serve. This is accomplished by securing donations from the amazing businesses, community organizers and individuals that understand the importance of our mission.
How can you get involved?
Becoming an event sponsor not only provides much-needed funding to Opportunity Village’s programs and services but also gives wonderful branding opportunities to your business or organization. Sponsors receive pre- and post-event recognition on collateral and press materials, on-site logo branding and placement on the Opportunity Village and event websites. Imagine having your logo strategically placed in front of the nearly 85,000 guests that attend the Magical Forest each season. Each event offers a unique experience for not only the guests but for our wonderful sponsors as well.
Opportunity Village has worked hard over the years to have as few event costs as possible, all while creating a memorable and successful event with a great atmosphere. We have been fortunate to have such amazing supporters in the Las Vegas community, whether it’s providing food and beverage for 1,000 people or donating hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of A/V equipment for a black tie gala.
Donate Silent Auction Items
An important fundraising component of events at Opportunity Village is the silent auction. We pride ourselves on offering unique and hard-to-find items and experiences for our guests. These packages include trips, tickets to special events around Las Vegas, autographed memorabilia, fine dining experiences and much more.
Opportunity Village’s fundraising events are very detail-oriented and require amazing volunteers to assist with setup and tear down as well as help during the actual event. Event day assistance consists of finalizing decor, working check-in and the silent auction tables and assisting with guest services. For our largest event, the Magical Forest, 70-90 volunteers are needed nightly for the 50-night event. We are grateful to the Las Vegas community for ensuring that our events are fully staffed with volunteers so our guests receive the best possible experience.

Opportunity Village is a 100% local Las Vegas not-for-profit organization that has been serving men and women with intellectual disabilities in our community for more than 60 years.
