Denielle deWynter

Chief Financial Officer 

Chief Financial Officer Denielle deWynter is responsible for the financial strategy and stewardship of Opportunity Village, overseeing the organization’s financial operations and helping ensure resources are strategically aligned with its mission. She works closely with executive leadership to support strategic decision-making, strengthen financial processes and governance, and help position the organization for long-term sustainability and growth while maximizing the resources available to serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Denielle has more than 30 years of global finance experience with a leadership style centered on collaboration, strong relationships, and partnership. Throughout her career, she has helped organizations navigate growth and change, strengthen financial and operational practices, and build teams and processes that support long-term success. Her experience spans financial and operational transformation, strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, and performance improvement.

Prior to joining Opportunity Village, Denielle served as a CFO-in-residence with HearstLab, Hearst’s global venture initiative focused on investing in and supporting innovative, women-led technology companies. Before that, she spent nearly 10 years as chief financial officer of Hearst Health and Hearst Business Media, two high-growth divisions of Hearst, a global diversified media, information, and services company. In those roles, she led financial strategy and operations across a diverse portfolio of businesses and partnered closely with leadership teams to support growth, investment, and long-term business strategy.

Prior to Hearst, Denielle spent a decade with S&P Global, where she held leadership roles across global finance operations, risk assessment, international reporting, and internal controls. Earlier in her career, she held positions with HSBC and Deloitte in London, Düsseldorf, and Vancouver.

Denielle is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and British Columbia and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Simon Fraser University in Canada.

Denielle loves calling Nevada home and raising her two children in the community. In her free time, she enjoys golfing and exploring local hiking trails. She is thrilled to be part of Opportunity Village, where she can give back, make a meaningful difference in the community, and deepen the roots she and her family have built in Nevada.
