Opportunity Village is proud to highlight Foundation Board Member, Cliff Miller, who has been a dedicated member of the OV Foundation Board since January 2002. Cliff and his wife, Darlene Miller, own MJ Christensen Diamonds.

Cliff first became involved with OV when he was introduced to Opportunity Village’s former Associate Executive Director, Linda Smith. Linda hosted Cliff and Darlene on a tour where they fell in love with the mission and they have been involved ever since.

Get to Know Cliff:

Q: What is your favorite type of food?

A: Chocolate. Definitely anything chocolate.

Q: What are some of your hobbies outside of work?

A: All things associated with fly fishing.  I tie my own flies and that adds an extra thrill when the fish bite.

Q: What is one thing you cannot live without?

A: Darlene.  My wife is the best thing to ever happen to me.

Q: If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?

A: To read minds. Sometimes that would come in real handy.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A: Patagonia, Argentina. The fishing is great there.

Q: What are you most proud of?

A:  My new grandson, Matthew.

Q: What is your favorite holiday tradition?

A:  Christmas gift buying.  Without it I’d be in trouble.

Q: What is one piece of advice you would give people who are thinking about getting involved with Opportunity Village?

A: Prepare to be blessed.  The people we serve are beautiful.

Q: What is your favorite OV event:

A: Camelot.  I love the celebration of another year of sharing.
