Why Magical Forest Is a Must-See Christmas Event

There’s truly something for everyone at the Magical Forest, making it one of the most fun things to do in Las Vegas during the season. Opportunity Village’s theme park is packed with budget friendly activities for all ages, from rides and midway games to festive food, unique shoppes, and plenty of surprises along the way.


Santa Visits

Visit with Santa Claus at the Magical Forest. This is your opportunity to tell the big guy all the reasons your name should be on the nice list! All proceeds from photos with Santa benefit Opportunity Village.


Avalanche Slide

Are you brave enough to race down the Avalanche Slide with your friends and family? This snow-covered mountain stands 50 feet tall and only the brave will hop in their sack to experience this exhilarating decline.


Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel

Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel is a cherished ride for the young and young at heart. The carousel is a must for all attendees and it’s brighter than ever before with all new LED lighting! All riders must be 42″ tall unless riding with a guardian.


Beer Garden and Food Options

Food options are plentiful inside the Magical Forest. Peek inside Camelot Hall for specialty items, or enjoy carnival-style eats in the middle of all the action outdoors. Don’t forget the Cookie Cabin inside the forest itself, which sells our famous Dessie’s Table Cookies. Revelers 21+ can enjoy alcoholic beverages inside the Magical Forest Beer Garden.


Forest Express Passenger Train

All aboard! Take an unforgettable ride on the Forest Express Passenger Train, perhaps our most iconic attraction, and make memories as you enjoy the enchanting lights of the Magical Forest. All riders must be 42″ tall unless riding with a guardian.


Gift Shops

Fantastic finds await at the Magical Forest gift shops. The Holiday Shoppe is filled with seasonally themed items, Magical Forest merchandise, and other treasures. The Neon kiosk is your one-stop-shop for light-up toys.


Midway Games

The Magical Forest will bring out the kid in all of us! Midway Carnival Games, such as Ring Toss, Duck Pond, Goblet Toss and Ball in the Bucket, are set up outside the forest for attendees to enjoy and get those competitive juices flowing! Each game is just $5.


Photo Ops

The Magical Forest is an Instagrammer’s paradise for selfies. Smile alongside your  favorite tree in the forest or make a stop at one of our many photo ops with your entire group so a team member can snap some pictures for you! Don’t forget to use #MagicalForest.


Rod’s Mini Golf

Take your best shot at this one-of-a-kind course and don’t let Santa or his elves distract you from that hole-in-one. Grab a ball and putter and enjoy this family-friendly 8-hole course.

Pets are not allowed inside the Magical Forest. Service animals are welcome with proper identification.

These discounts are only available at the Magical Forest box office in person. The 2025 Magical Forest discounts are:

    • Volunteers/Opportunity Village Employees – 25% off tickets and F&B
    • Seniors (65+) – $3 off
    • Senior Bulk Ticket (10 tickets and up) – $18
    • Military/First Responders – $5 off
    • 3 years and under are FREE

Yes! We offer a few choices, and our team will be happy to help.

Magical Forest is an all ages event. Plus, children 3 and under are free!

Cash is accepted at Magical Forest. We also accept all credit cards, EXCEPT Discover.

On-site ticket sales are available and you don’t need reservations to attend, although we do recommend purchasing tickets online in advance to avoid waiting in line when you arrive.

By purchasing online you’re also guaranteed that the event won’t be sold out on a given night.

Magical Forest is an accessible event for people of all abilities.

We have a limited number of wheelchairs available onsite, and they are first come, first served.

A valid state or government-issued ID is required to be left at the box office when the chair is borrowed, and it will be returned when the chair is returned.

All volunteers and guests enter the park through metal detectors, and security officers are posted throughout the park. AMR Medical Services will be on-site as well.

No outside food or drink is allowed inside the park except water bottles. Anyone found consuming alcohol outside of the designated area will be escorted out of the park.

Diaper or childcare bags are allowed, but other larger bags such as backpacks and duffle bags will not be allowed inside.

Bags allowed in the park are subject to search by our security team.
