Opportunity Village’s Northwest Campus and Betty’s Village North Slated to Open in Late 2026
LAS VEGAS (February 23, 2026) – Belonging and hope are coming to Northwest Las Vegas this year when Opportunity Village opens its newest campus location and Betty’s Village North, providing housing, direct employment, workforce development and day habilitation services to hundreds of Nevada residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Opportunity Village Northwest Campus will feature day habilitation program spaces and onsite workforce training, an Opportunity Village Thrift Store boutique, OV Artworks Studio workshop and gallery, and cafe. The new campus is projected to open in fall 2026 and is the fourth large-scale Opportunity Village campus in the Las Vegas area.
Betty’s Village North is the second residential community created by Opportunity Village. Its predecessor, Betty’s Village, opened in 2021 at 7755 W. Oquendo Road. The second location will feature 90 residences, including one- and two-bedroom apartments, and four-bedroom homes, providing over 125 residents with accessible and affordable housing. The gated community will feature front-porch living, walking and bike paths, a barbecue area and community park. Betty’s Village North is expected to welcome its first residents in December 2026, with new residents moving in throughout a six-month period.
“Betty’s Village, the first residential community for people of diverse abilities from Opportunity Village, was filled to capacity within five months of opening in June 2021,” said Bob Brown, president and CEO of Opportunity Village. “Betty’s Village North will help relieve the current waiting list of hundreds. We know there’s a huge need for this type of community, and we feel like we can’t build them fast enough. This project helps answer the question of what will happen to my loved one when I’m gone, a question many of us ask regularly.”
The $59 million Opportunity Village Northwest Campus and Betty’s Village North project is spread across 17.6 acres at the intersection of North Thom and Rome boulevards, just off North Decatur Blvd. and the I-215. For more information on the project, visit www.OVNorthwest.org.
